Archer Hollywood - BSB Design Project Details

Archer Hollywood is a six-story development located on a narrow mid-block lot behind the Musso & Frank Grill and near the Hollywood & Highland complex. It is comprised of 224 apartments, including 24 for very low-income households, as well as targeting a diverse mix of young and working professionals. The range of units includes compact studios and one- and two-bedroom layouts that use boat design-inspired space-saving techniques such as niches, sliding walls, and built-in storage.

The development offers high-end community-centric amenities such as a dedicated co-working space, community clubroom, private screening room, two roof decks, a pool deck and spa, and a double-level fitness center. The exterior façades draw inspiration from the neighborhood’s iconic architecture and industrial roots and use undulating metal and mesh elements against white stucco, recessed balconies, and brightly colored ceilings. The stepped building mass and use of seven-foot-high windows and glass-fronted balconies bring light deep into units, while the multiple roof decks integrate living and community spaces.
