Skylar Nestor
Skylar fell in love with architecture at the age of 14 on a trip to France. She decided to pursue a career in architecture at the University of South Florida where she graduated with an Masters of Architecture in 2020. Skylar’s thesis combined her love for public spaces, historic architecture, and reading, focusing on the preservation and restoration of Tampa’s Carnegie Library in Tampa Heights. As an Intern Architect in the Tampa office of BSB Design, she has experience working on single family and multifamily projects. Skylar supports the architectural team in design development, drafting architectural plans, conducting research, assisting with project documentation, and collaborating with senior architects.
Fun Fact
Skylar has a passion for experiencing new places and cultures having lived in various places throughout her life including Florence and Germany. She became an exchange student after hosting students from France, Czech Republic and Japan. Skylar has two cats and a miniature goldendoodle who like to join her video calls when she works from home.
