Robert E. Boyd, RLA

Associate | Director of Community Design

Bob is Director of Community Design and has been at BSB Design since 1990. His goal is a creative design development process resulting in new communities that will meet the wants and needs of future residents while providing exciting environments in which to live, work and recreate.

During his 48-year career, he has earned several awards for his exemplary work. Bob’s work at Tampa Palms in Tampa, Florida, earned the NAHB 1987 Master Planned Community of the Year. He also designed Neal Communities’ flagship master planned development, University Park, which won numerous community design awards including “Best Master Planned Community Design in America” from the National Association of Home Builders. In addition to his community design responsibilities with BSB Design, Bob is involved in local homebuilders’ association activities and local government advisory committees.

Fun Fact

Bob made the 1973 US College All-American hockey team while playing at his alma mater, Michigan State University
