Fun Fact
Mike's hobbies include bass guitar, gardening, and golf, which he has been involved in since his grandfather taught him how to hold a club at a young age. He grew up playing golf competitively and caddying and was lucky enough to caddy consecutive years at the Western Open for Jim Dent and then Miller Barber. The next year he caddied in a group that included Jack Nicklaus, where Mike was the only caddy who knew the course. Jack told Mike he’d be asking his advice throughout the round. Quite a thrill for a then 18-year-old!
