Joe Maschek

Joe Maschek joined the Chicago office of BSB Design in 2004. He has more than 25 years of diverse landscape architectural experience, as well as hands-on experience in community development through a number of civic and volunteer positions. Joe has an extensive background in site planning, project entitlements, landscape architecture, project management, city planning, issue analysis, public engagement, zoning administration, neighborhood design and implementation of development projects throughout the Midwest.

He has always been interested in how and where people live. Joe started working as a landscaper in high school, moving on to draw maps through his college years and now relishes the fact that he gets to create successful neighborhoods.

Fun Fact

Joe brags that he is an avid gardener that kills lawns on purpose. As a tuba player, her loves to dance a rousing polka and will happily share photo evidence.
