David L. Copenhaver, AIA

Since joining BSB Design in 1989, Dave has been involved in a multitude of project types, including single family, single family build to rent, multifamily, mixed use and 55+ communities. As a lead designer in the firm and a member of the Board of Directors, Dave is actively involved in defining our national design vision, and he maintains specific focus on business development and leadership in Texas and across the east coast. He has managed and designed award-winning projects throughout the United States and has held key positions in a number of community vision committees.

Dave’s 38 years of experience and knowledge of the industry and design trends throughout the country, combined with his commitment to providing immediate response and follow through, make him an invaluable resource to his clients. He is a frequent expert speaker at industry events and conferences, contributes to trade publications, and strives to push the design envelope at every opportunity.

Dave takes pleasure in golfing, hiking, and embarking on memorable travels alongside his beloved family. His ardent enthusiasm for architecture drives him to thoroughly immerse himself in studying various architectural styles in real-world settings.
