BSB Design staff joined residents of the Bloom at Magnolia project in Long Beach this month to kick-start the development’s newly opened rooftop garden. Planting vegetable seeds and herbs with the residents offered a chance to get to know tenants in a new way as the affordable apartment development has opened just in the last few weeks.
In addition to sharing panoramic views from rooftop and a healthy dose of Southern California Spring weather, BSB Design staff remarked on the power of seeing the tangible results of their design efforts and how projects such as Bloom at Magnolia actively make a difference in the community and peoples’ lives. Efforts are already underway for further volunteering opportunities at this and other LINC housing locations.
