For some buyers, the culture of the surrounding community is the most important factor when it comes to design. Homes that offer lifestyle-driven floor plans are always popular, and when that lifestyle is further enhanced by the location and nearby amenities, sales are even easier. These projects offer access to communal spaces where residents can enjoy time with neighbors, friends and family.

Community Connections

Just a block north of Main Street in the heart of Dunedin, FL, Artisan is the newest mixed use development in this vibrant, artistic community. Beyond the fact that residential units overlook ground-floor retail and all the activity there, the project was also designed to offer a variety of unique amenities for entertaining. Artisan’s management group frequently arranges cooking classes and other social activities that are open to residents and community members alike. Homeowners enjoy private use of the patio spaces, lawns, fire pits and pool but also truly appreciate the hosted social events where they can meet up with peers and neighbors. It’s a huge perk for social butterflies.

A Maze of Meet-Ups

nullAlthough this student housing complex is for-rent only, social spaces are equally as important as they are in for-sale product. The Hudson at Northgate is a home away from home, so creating intimate, comfortable amenity options was a key part of the design program. Students need a variety of spaces to live, work and play, both individually and in groups. The infill site and podium design enabled designers to craft a unique building footprint, where interesting nooks and crannies are utilized as study spaces, game areas and private lounges. At every turn, residents find new ways to socialize or study. Students who live here know it’s the hottest spot on campus!

Party Pavilion

nullThe Weston model at Whitewing at Whisper Ranch offers amazing entertainment spaces. The expansive main floor plan connects to multiple outdoor entertainment areas, including an outdoor kitchen, courtyard fireplace and lounger couches. But when owners want even more entertainment options, they don’t have far to go. The community amenity center is just across the street and features two unique buildings. The larger structure includes a fully-outfitted demonstration kitchen with interior space for social gatherings. Oversized sliding glass doors can be opened to double the seating area, extending onto the covered patio. Next door is a smaller entertainment pavilion with seating areas and a double-sided fireplace. And when the party ends, it’s a short walk back home.
